BOWLING GREEN — Napoleon had four individuals and a pair of relay teams finish in the top three at Friday’s Duff Madaras Bobcat Invitational at Bowling Green High School.

Josh Mack paced the Wildcats by winning the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.98. The senior also placed third in the long jump with a distance of 20-05.00 and ran on the 400 relay team that ran a 46.33 to place third. Joining Mack on the relay team were Jacob Bruns, Andrew Williams and Zach Moll.

Hannah Nagel also nabbed a pair of top-three finishes Friday. She placed second in the 200 with a time of 28.19 and ran on the 800 relay team that ran a 1:56.75 to finish second. Also running the relay were Lyiah Huddle, Meghan Dietrich and Vivian Macheck.

Hayes Bingham was the runner-up in the boys 400 with a 53.22, while Ava Harmon was third in the girls pole vault with a 9-06.00.

Wauseon had top-three finishes in nine individual events at the meet.

Jackson Callan, Hunter Wasnich and Grace Rhoades each won events to lead the Indians. Callan won the boys 1600 with a time of 4:49.51, Wasnich won the boys 3200 (10:08.84) and Rhoades took first in the girls 3200 (12:39.71).

Four others were runners-up, including Samuel Smith Jr. in the boys 100 (11.46), Jonas Tester in the boys long jump (20-07.50), Teagan Rupp in the girls long jump (15-11.00) and Matthew Shaw in the boys shot put (47-02.00).

Tester was also third in the 200 with a time of 23.61, while Hayley Meyer tossed a 30-09.50 to place third in the girls shot put.

Wauseon’s girls team finished seventh with 48 points and Napoleon was eighth with 46. Wauseon’s boys racked up 84 points to place third and Napoleon finished eighth (40). Liberty-Benton won the girls events with 124.5 points and Findlay won the boys events with 143 points.
